Nothing is perfect and that includes organic ingredients. While they are categorically better for us than non-organic products, they still need a few tweaks before they meet perfection. Products that are labelled as organic aren’t under any obligation to undergo further checks for contaminants. Even when growers do all they can to restrict heavy metals and other toxins in their produce, they can still sneak in sometimes.
